Art takes on many different medians and forms. In late 2013 I had a creative inspiration to live my art by spending a full year living under canvas beginning January 1 of 2014. I didn't know where it would take me or what would happen. One inspiration that developed was copper tinkering. I saw some art and know a friend who does copper work so I decided to try my hand at it. In a short amount of time I was making copper turtle brooches with my hand drawn designs and then I making pins. I make all of my copper pieces under canvas and currently the canvas I am living in is a tipi. All my pieces are one of kind and hand made using traditional tools and techniques all while under canvas.

I still enjoy making trade strands with beads and other forms of art I have done, however the copper tinkering has really provided me with a great inspiration.
